Happened in September 2020. It's above his ankle joint,
so just a scar...no damage to the joint.

I assume he got kicked or stepped on in the corral in Nov./Dec. 2020.
It will heal fine. Not going to lower his price for either injury.
**Update: May 19th, 2021 - it was a 'gravel' inside. It broke open and is heeling
up much better than we thought. He might always have a bump
there, but it is nothing that will make him lame.

Yeah...it was for sure a gravel and it's looking good.
I don't know if it will always have some swelling on the
front of the pastern or not, but it is not a lameness issue.

Wolf Teeth not present at that time,
so they are not pulled yet if present.
He's got some claw like scrapes on his left barrel/hip/thigh, so I suspect
his original injury was caused by a lion attack that was
unsuccessful that day in causing his demise.
Later on, that injury caused a seperation from his mother
and the herd by being too slow to keep up. We thought he was
already lion bait at this pasture move time. Because of
this seperation, he spent 2 1/2 months alone until he was found by
hunters. He's healed up nicely from whatever the original
injury was to his hind leg. There are no other scars or visible marks.
He did have some 'muscle attrophy' for a time in the fall and some in the winter, but it is hard to see it now, but I'm not a professional. He comes
as is and looks good and has the best disposition.
*Odd cheek bone line on one side, the bone is not smooth,
so I suspect it could have been an injury too in fall 2020. I don't
have a photo of it right now (8/4/21), but will get one.
